The Civet fruit tree

The civet fruit tree is widely grown in India. It derives its name from the civet cat since its fruit has a highly putrid smell.
It is just this putrid smell which attracts wild animals who greatly enjoy the fallen fruit. But there is a pecking order at play here as to who gets first choice and first pickings, only after the elephants have had their fill, are the Tigers, Rhinoceros, Deer and Monkeys allowed to enjoy what remains!
